Memory Palace

All I know is my friends/family are bamboozled/amazed by my ability to memorize large amounts of data, but are entirely uninterested or even roll their eyes when I try to describe the process. It's a hard sell for the most part. 

I manage to describe the process and the reaction is always one of those :

• they give superficial attention but are not interested in doing it
• they laugh when I explain that we need to do crazy associations, they don't take it seriously
• they just don't really believe it
